The score4more benchmarking guides companies in improving their sustainability performance by comparing them with four industry leaders. It examines best practices and scores of these pioneers across individual profile criteria. The goal is to accelerate transformation: through best practice transfer and learning from top performers, companies can quickly identify additional measures and steps for improvement.

The benchmarking has a dashboard overview on benchmarking results and then detailed results for each criterion. The dashboard overview is shown here:

The benchmarking follows a methodical approach:

  1. Analysis of company profiles: Industry-specific company profile data undergoes structured analysis and classification based on the scoring logic.
  2. Selection of pioneering companies: Benchmarking companies in each sector are chosen, based on their overall score and performance in the German Sustainability Award (GSA/DNP), as winners or finalists.
  3. Identification of best practices: During profile re-analysis, AI/ML identifies best practices from the pioneers' actions and solutions for each criterion. Results are summarized consistently in length and wording.
  4. Benchmarking: Companies can compare their scores, actions, and solutions with industry leaders, providing concrete starting points for their improvements.

score4more's data-driven approach helps companies understand and address specific industry challenges and trends. AI-supported automation simplifies resource-intensive analyses, making comprehensive sustainability benchmarking accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises for the first time.
