The company profile draws from three main sources:

• Sustainability reports (e.g., ESRS report, GRI report, or company-specific sustainability reports)
• DNK declaration (compliance statement with the German Sustainability Code published by the DNK)
• Website (published sustainability information on the company's website, particularly relevant for SMEs)

The profile can store two current main sources. In the future, the reliability of the source will be considered—for instance, an externally verified sustainability report will carry more weight in terms of data quality than unverified website information. This distinction will become important if companies wish to use their profile scoring for interactions with business partners or banks.
