The score4more scoring evaluates the sustainability performance presented in the company profile on a 6-level scale. The levels represent the status of a company's transformation towards sustainability. The basic idea is that all companies are required to transform towards sustainability in order to achieve global sustainability.

Scoring Level

The scoring levels are:

Level 5: Leading - High impact through solutions and internally high sustainability.
Level 4: Advanced - Either high internal sustainability or high impact through solutions.
Level 3: On the way - Advanced internal sustainability and/or effective solutions.
Level 2: Beginning - Initial approaches for internal sustainability and/or initial solutions.
Level 1: Standard - Fulfillment of legal or industry-specific minimum standards.
Level 0: Inactive - No relevant sustainability measures or solutions.

The level selection is backed up by level definitions. The level definitions are applied separately for each criterion in the sustainability profile. An average scoring for the company is calculated from the individual scores for each criterion, which reflects the company's sustainability performance as presented in the company profile.

The scoring levels are applied for each criterion type with different level descriptions. The level at which the majority of the descriptions in the company profile apply is selected in the classification.

The level definitions are described in the following sections.

Level Definitions

For criteria “Abstract (summary)” in the company profile, the level definitions are as follows:

Level	Definition
Level 5	High-impact story of a company with an international pioneering claim as a sustainability leader with its own example and high-impact solutions, also internationally
Level 4	Story of a company with a fast-follower ambition in sustainability as part of a pioneering group that drives sustainable transformation in the industry nationally through solutions and innovations
Level 3	Story of a company with many years of experience and activity in sustainability with breadth and depth in the measures for transformation
Level 2	Story of a company starting out in sustainability with initial measures that go beyond the minimum in the industry
Level 1	Story of a legally compliant company that operates in line with legal or industry minimum sustainability standards and has little to show beyond that
Level 0	Story of a negatively exposed company with urgent transformation needs that have not yet been addressed or are even being delayed by lobbying
